Position description

Full-time Lecturer Position in Information Systems
The UCI Paul Merage School of Business is currently accepting applications for Lecturers to teach courses in Information Systems as early as July 1, 2025.

You will be expected to teach across all programs (undergraduate and graduate), some of which may occur at night and/or on weekends, including summers. You may be asked to develop an on-line or hybrid course consistent with the School's objectives and teaching needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A graduate degree in Information Systems, or other relevant discipline, is required. We are seeking individuals with a commitment to excellence in teaching. We invite applications from candidates with demonstrated teaching experience in Information Systems, including courses in AI, programming, analytics, and technology management.

About the Information Systems Area
The Information Systems faculty have long been recognized for their research and scholarship. The School places its Ph.D. student graduates in the best research universities, and its MBA and MSBA (MS in Business Analytics) programs are highly ranked based on their reputation for preparing students for successful careers in the age of AI.

About the Paul Merage School of Business
The successful candidate will join a dynamic business school located in the heart of Southern California’s thriving business community. The Merage Full-Time MBA program is ranked #27 in the US by the Financial Times. New hires will have opportunities to teach across a multitude of programs (undergraduate, graduate), both night and/or on weekends, including summers. Successful candidates may be expected to develop on-line or hybrid courses consistent with the School's objectives and teaching needs.
